Goodbye 2014, hello 2015!

It's that time of year again when Christmas has been and the new year is just around the corner. Winter is, by far, my favourite time of the year. There is so much going on and so much excitement. I thoroughly enjoyed christmas this year (having started preparing in October) and I am ready to give 2015 a warm welcome. I won't be going to any new year's eve parties - not that I've been invited to any but I much prefer to spend it with my family watching movies and just being all cosy with the fire on.

I have come up with a good number of new year's resolutions, here is my list:

  1. Drink one litre of water each day
  2. Start writing a book (which I will keep completely to myself)
  3. Read every evening (or most)
  4. Keep a memory jar
  5. Make the most of the whole year and try not to be too miserable that christmas is over :/
  6. Try to be tough and cry less
  7. Update my blog regularly
I really enjoy writing on my blog so I don't exactly know why I don't do it. Nope, there's no excuse. This is why I will be writing on my blog a lot more often and I'll be writing things about lots of different topics. After all, this is my very own corner of the internet and I have the opportunity to do so many things with it. It makes me think of 'How to lose a guy in ten days' where she leaves her job and city because the magazine that she works for won't let her write about real stuff. Here, I can do just that and I want to write about life and real topics as well as reviews and fashion tips. I hope somebody actually reads and appreciates this blog - someone besides my mum.

I hope you're all having a fantastic new year's eve and i wish you the best for 2015,

Emily x
